Thespian Board
Thespian Officers
Students with exceptional servant leadership skills are encouraged to run for the Board each year. The board members lead the troupe and the department throughout the year and work to ensure every student has an outstanding experience in theatre.
Makenna Dohrmann
Marketing & Publicity Director
"Hi there! My name is Makenna Dohrmann and I am one of the members of the thespian board this year. I am a senior and have been involved in the fine arts throughout these past couple of years at the high school. I am currently enrolled in choir and competitive theater and like to participate in both the fall musical and the spring one act or readers theatre. When it comes to outside of school, I will spend most of my time at my dance studio or with my family and friends. With all of that being said, I do feel like there is something really special with the LHS theatre department alone. I’m grateful for the program as well as the people and I’m thrilled to continue doing what I love with all of you!"
Olivia Dolton
Marketing & Publicity Director
"Hello, lovely thespians! My name is Olivia Dolton, and I am honored to be a member of the 24-25 LHS thespian board! I am a junior and have been involved in LHS theatre ever since I was a freshman. I am currently enrolled in concert choir and advanced theatre, along with AP music theory in school! Outside of school, I participate in the fall musical, the spring readers theatre or one-act plays, and chamber choir. In total, I’ve been in 4 productions for LHS theatre, and cannot wait to be in more! My main goal throughout my years in theatre is to make this a safe, positive, and welcoming space for all. I cannot wait to make so many new friends and to grow, not only as a performer but as a leader and a person. I am eternally grateful for your lovely people, my fellow board members, and our wonderful department. I can’t wait to get to know every one of you!"
Alethea Smith
Activities & Outreach Director
"Hey Thespians! I'm Alethea Smith and I am one of your co-directors of Activities and Outreach. I am so excited to get to know each and every one of you and make this an absolutely amazing year! I am more on the tech side of things and love learning new things within the department. I started theatre my Freshman year and have loved every moment of it for these past 3 years! When I am not in the theatre wing, where I spend most of my time, you can find me in many different places. You could find me within the EDGE Microschool, the GSA club, my educational internship, yearbook and leadership for EDGE, working behind the counter as your local Starbucks barista, or working at Liberty Downtown Farmers Market. No matter how involved or busy I am, theatre has always been my top choice/priority. I love the community we have built here and cannot wait to contribute even more to this community. Rephrasing Turpin's words, let's soak every minute of this up."
Iris Vallier
Activities & Outreach Director
"Hi everyone! My name is Iris Vallier, I am a senior, and I'm so beyond excited to be serving you all on our Thespian Board this year! Unlike the other members of our board, I don't do much acting. I love tech in every aspect and I'm always looking to learn new things and take advantage of new opportunities. My passion is obviously theater, but more importantly, it's making you guys feel safe and welcomed here. This department has been my home since my freshmen year musical and I want it to be the same safe space for all of you that it has become for me. As well as theater, I love to cook and bake, I have fun singing and I love music. (This pic is me at the Taylor Swift concert). I love and chance to be creative and I'm so excited to bring new ideas to our department and really help us shine this year (wink wink). I love you all and I'm so happy to be here working with you and with my incredible other board members! "
Evan Marr
Membership & Mentoring Director
"Hello! I am Evan Marr, and I am a senior this year. I have done all the musicals since freshmen year, along with the one acts and readers. I am also on the coolest improv team ever, Exit 1-6. My favorite color is green, and my favorite food is pasta. I also love to dance, especially tap, I could talk about how much I love it for hours. My favorite theatre experience has been doing Arsenic and Old Lace, because it is one of my favorite plays and I got to play my favorite character, Teddy. I am membership director, so I will be helping you with point record sheets and along with keeping you on track to either becoming a thespian or upgrading your thespian status. I cannot wait to work with you all this year! :)"
